I am an American Citizen watching my country destroyed

I never thought I would be here. I never thought I would be a person that is now so convinced our country is allowing us to be invaded, that I have no choice but to discuss it, organize against it and have discussions with people like me.

I am not white, male, a xenophobe, I am a person of color, part of my family heritage is Native American. I can trace my lineage on this country back thousands of years. I grew up in a place where I was taught to respect differences. My grandparents worked hard their entire life, my parents as well. They raised me to work hard, not ask for hand out, respect people regardless of their background and if I desired something all I had to do was work hard for it.

I remember in junior high being totally in love with Spanish culture. I loved the language, loved the differences of Spain, South American, Mexico, etc. It was learning about these differences that persuaded me to study spanish in school starting from the ninth grade. It was my dream to learn about people different from me, and travel and see the world. I am sure many people can understand.

Illegal Immigration was never something that was so huge people were afraid. It was never something where people believed millions were coming into this country, we all knew intellectually that somewhere there were people that may not completely followed the rules to be here, but as soon as they could they rectified it, they worked hard, learned the language, and become productive members of american society.

One of my best friends is a legal immigrant. I married a man that was a legal immigrant to this country. As I became older and entered university, I realized and learned the entire process of INS, the cost, the interviews, etc for those that wish to take part in the American dream. I learned that living in the US is not a promise to everyone. I learned that this world is huge and that the best way for us as humans to live and grow is to learn to take care of the land we live. Petty corruptions, divisions are what causes destruction.

After 9/11, I realized that our government had many holes. Holes so deep, we couldn't even imagine. I realized that our country was being invaded, but not only that, we were being bought and sold right before our eyes. I realized how huge the borders of unprotected soil was being invaded every day and how much the country I had loved with all its imperfection was fading away.

I watched George Bush steal elections and in that time, I realized that we no longer lived in a democracy. I realized there was not much difference between a Democrat and a Republican and that at the end of the day the ate at the same trough, they were elite people who made empty promises, carried out their own agendas and couldn't care less about the common american citizen. I never thought GW Bush would allow 10 million Mexican illegals to invade my country without so much as a sigh.

And for that and so many reasons I am here. Not because I hate immigrants, I do not. Not because I hate people of color, absolutely not. I am a person of color. I have faced racism and discrimination my entire life, it is not an excuse for injustice on anyone's part. I am just like you and you are just like me. I wanted to join the MinuteMen but was afraid I was actually joined a "hate group" who hated people just like me. A lot of those other groups seem to hate all kinds of people and just lump illegal immigrants (mainly from Mexico) into that group. That simply isn't me. This blog is not about hate, this blog and this organizing is about Love.

I have watched people with hate invade my country because they mistakenly believe that this country is their land. Which is utterly ridiculous. No Mexican anywhere has any claim to the United States. Not one. I have watched marches of mainly illegal Mexicans who refuse to learn English, who chat they are going to "take over our country". Hello Mr. President, you are fighting in Iraq and you have millions of people invading the United States with not only hate for its citizens, but they are organizing to take it over. Why are you not protecting us? Why are not sending troops to protect our great country?

I have watched Spanish pop up more and more. 1 for English, 2 for Spanish is insulting. I have watched illegal immigrants get more aid to live here, go to to school, get mortgages, steal social security numbers, make up ones, steal american citizens identities and they still live under the radar of our country. What is the big push for them to become legal again? They want to take over, they have terrorist groups like "La Raza" and Aztlan there to support them and SHOCKINGLY, I see these militant terrorist groups in Washington, DC in secret meetings with our president and aids. Do you think something is going on that we don't know about. Much like Michael Moore showed our president in secret meetings with Saudi Arabi, let's look at how many flights, trips and meetings our president routinely has with Mexico (as friends), while the common american citizen watches the hate, and see the marches of overtaking us. Hello? Is anyone home.

I have been looking around the internet, reading papers, talking to Mexican people, figures of both of these mililtant organizations for a while now. I am a friendly earthy person and when people don't feel threatened and think you are on "their side" they will tell you everything. I learned this tactic early. There has been a plan in the works for a while now. A plan to slowly invade our country from Mexico. They wouldn't use guns or bombs (they know they would quickly be exterminated), they would use our corporate greed against us, they will just invade and overtake by sheer numbers, even if that meant the whole of Mexico (those who were fit enough to leave; man, woman, and child) to run to the "US" and take it over. Please, know this is exactly what is happening here now, today and for the future.

This is not about getting to know different cultures. This is not about hard working people who just want a better life, who respect the country. This is not about free enterprise. This is about not only a hate and disrespect for our country, but an invasion of terroristic overthrowing of our country as we know it. The middle class is being destroyed right before our eyes. Public schools are in a crisis that is almost unbelievable. Our quality of education is at an all time low in public schools, because of such an illegal Mexican invasion, children won't learn English, are only schooled to do low-skilled labor jobs, join gangs and have a basic lack of respect for the United States in general. My heart goes out to all the school teachers that are dealing with this crisis. People join my blog, please share you thoughts. Courts are up in arms. Hospitals are closing right and left, things we took for granted would always be apart of our world in this country are diminishing before our eyes. The media has become a circus of lies, and we are fighting a battle that no matter what Congress and the President decides (for their benefit), we are sinking.

The only way we can stop the inevitable is to come together. It doesn't matter if you are black, white, asian, hispanic, as long as you are an american citizen that wants to take our country back, please join me. No hate, no racism, just honest facts about our country and where we are going. If we continue going this way we are going to have a CIVIL WAR.

I remember reading an article that caused a great deal of hoopla. It was a very reknowned professor who said we are creating two different Americans. It reverberated in me at the time, because my brother had just came back from Miami and couldn't find a person to fix his car that spoke English. I have communicated with people that live in California, in conclaves where you can't get fast food and service if you don't speak English. This professor was not only accurate, but he foretold of things to come.

I have so much more to say, but I will leave with this last thought:

Why is Mexico not being held responsible for its failures? Why are illegal immigrants from Mexico (who number over 90%) not marching against Mexico? Why aren't the millions of Mexicans joining together and fighting for change in their country?

If you would like to join me, please email me or post on my blog. Thank you.

I support this effort 100%, the powers that be apparently are not listening to us. It is a country based on the premise that the majority rules, but not it is the minority dictates. The powers that be seldom listen unless you can point out the problem, the cause and effect and a proposed soloution. Will do all I can to support this issue.

I finished reading your original posting. You being a decendant of Native Americans have more right to be upset about this than any of the rest. I was born and raised in western Nebraska I am a decendant of German immigrants (legal), and also recall the persecution of the Germans during World War II and of hearing stories from my grandparents of the same discrimination during WWI. I am a retired SFC US Army spent 20 years of my life defending our rights the one we are using now (Free Speach)and going back in history of the Native Americans and the dealings with "great white fathers" who spoke with "forked tongue" The modern day politicians are doing the same thing. Friend of Lakota Sioux.

My ethnicty doesn't matter, but I have Cherokee blood in me. All that matters though is that I'm an American. I'm not an "Irish-American" or "German-American" either. I am an American. As Teddy said too, "America must remain American." It is not "out of one, many" as Al Gore mistakenly said. It is "Out of Many, One!" We are supposed to assimilate immigrants. They are supposed to become American. If they do not, and we allow it, then America is lost. Either become American and love America, or... get out! Sorry, that's harsh, but it's the truth. No nation survives with such a huge influx of people who hate it.
