I started this blog as a means to voice what is happening in our country. I, however, can't do it alone. I am just like you. I have watched slowly things that I only read about in Los Angeles and Texas happening everywhere in this country. I have watched illegals picket with such anger and racism against the US, that I realized how much the invasion was happening before our eyes. Why are we in Iraq, when the hate and the terrorists are right here in our country. They hate us, they want to take away our homes and our comfort in this country and destroy it. They have been indoctrinated to believe that this country is theirs, even when the country of their birth has failed them.
I am not a male, I am not a white, I am not a "red neck" nor lazy by any stretch of the imagination. I have worked since I was 11 years old. I sent myself to college. I was married to a legal immigrant for over six and a half years. One of my best friends is a naturalized citizen. I dont have a racist bone in my body and yet, I realize now that if we don't come together and talk about this, we are going to lose the country we hold so dear.
If you are like me and want to talk and share information, feel free to write me or post a response. The good ones I will give their own entry. Thank you.

Hello there
I am a blogger and like you are concerned and disilussioned about the powerlessness of the average citizen to make and affect change in American society. I am an immigrant myself and we most likely disagree on many aspects of the immigration debate. Don't worry I am not here to pick a fight. I am writing you to try and build a bridge one average person to another. I invite you to read my blog and see if what I say resonates with you as much of what you have to say in regards to the impotence and frustration you feel as an average citizen resonated with me. Although we disagree on many points, I do feel we have much in common in regards to how we see democracy eroding, how the political system is serving interests other than those of the average citizen, and how neither major political parties are willing to address the socio-economic concerns of ordinary people in any substantive way.
The big question is: what can be done about it? Should we continue to put our hopes and faith on people -- politicians and corporations who are more than willing to exploit our fears and prejudices to keep us divided? Or is there an untapped potential among people like us - the great mass of angry, dissatisfied citizens - to effect change ourselves? How? The first step is average citizens talking and finding common ground.
stop to throw all bullshit man. all man and women are not same.u r talking about illigal people, mostly all working and paying tax and what u do getting money from gov. start working then u will see where the usa will be. u cant just ignore yourself first think what u doing then see what other doing. iam not saying illigal alien all ok,they not but u just cant tell that usa economy is going down because of them so first we have to know what we doing then see what other . iam sorry i know nobody will like my comment because its just little against usa but that truth .thanks
